Letter included:

I write to inquire whether or not there is any increase in pensions where the pensioner is totally disabled and unable to take care of himself or provide means for his support.  Mr. Adcock is very old and feeble, can hardly stand and if there is any pension paid over $15 per quarter, which I understand is his, he is certainly entitled to it.  I would appreciate if you would give us some idea of about the maximum of pension paid and if it is necessary to make up any proof as to his physical condition, wish you would furnish me with necessary blanks.

Thanking you to give the matter your usual prompt attention, I am

                                                            your is very truly,
