    Name:        Ambrose Pellum JORDAN
    Father:        John JORDAN (abt 1784 - bet 1845 and 1847)
    Mother:        Mary Eliza PELLUM (abt 1790 - abt 1837)


    Ambrose Pellum JORDAN was born on August 6, 1831 in Baker County,
    GA.  He resided between February 1858 and 1868 in Tyler County, TX.  
    He resided in 1860 in Tyler County, TX.  He served in the military in 1863
    in Confederate Soldier, 11th Battalion, Texas Volunteer Calvary &
    Infantry (Spaight's), Co. D..  He resided in 1880 in Hardin County, TX.  He
    was a Farmer in 1880 in Hardin County, TX.  He died on February 12,
    1917 in Kountze, Hardin County, TX.  He was buried in Old Hardin
    Cemetery, Hardin County, TX.

    He was married to Mary Ann COLLIER (daughter of Benjamin Columbus
    COLLIER Sr. and Polly(or Mary) GRANBERRY) on October 14, 1854 in
    Mississippi.  Mary Ann COLLIER was born on February 12, 1836 in
    Blakely, Early County, GA.  She resided between February 12, 1836 and
    1852 in Early County, GA.  She resided between 1855 and 1860 in Tyler
    County, TX.  She was a Baptist on November 24, 1855 in Beech Creek
    Baptist Church, Tyler County, TX.  She resided in 1880 in Hardin County,
    TX.  She was keeping house in 1880 in Hardin County, TX.  She died on
    June 23, 1921 in Sour Lake, Hardin County, TX.  She was buried in Old
    Hardin Cemetery, Hardin County, TX.  

    Ambrose Pellum JORDAN and Mary Ann COLLIER had the following
    children:
